This is an old post.

ORANJESTAD - The government of Aruba announces that, as of August 24, 2024, it will extend the closure of the border with Venezuela for four more months.

The border with Venezuela has been closed since 2019 when the Venezuelan government unilaterally closed the border. Based on agreements between the Aruban and Venezuelan authorities, they opened the maritime border in May 2023.
As of August 24, 2024, the government extends the closure by another four months.
