A Shoco from Armando for the Library
This is an old post.
ORANJESTAD - In connection with the 75th-anniversary celebration of the National Library on August 20, visual artist Armando Goedgedrag donated an artwork of a Shoco to the National Library.
The Shoco (burrowing owl - Athene cunicularia arubensis) is the national symbol of Aruba, and Aruba has been the habitat of the Shoco for centuries. Armando expresses his appreciation and love for Aruba's nature through his realistic works, paintings, portraits, murals, and book illustrations.
The Shoco will become part of the collection of public artworks that everyone can admire.
Armando Goedgedrag holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Multimedia Design and a master's degree in Animation.
